The Oklahoma State Health Department Consumer Health Service Division regulates public bathing place venues. Pools under private home ownership, or community pools for 30 or less homes, are exempt from this requirement. The City of Jenks uses these categories when permitting swimming pools; pools under private home ownership, or community pools for 30 or less homes, are residential pools. All other pools, including neighborhoods pools for more than 30 homes, are commercial pools.
