Fireworks Permits

Fireworks permits are required by city ordinance in order to ignite fireworks.

City Hall is open Monday through Friday. Hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Fireworks discharge will be allowed between 12:00 noon and 11:00 PM on July 3rd & 4th. New Year’s Eve: from 11:30 PM December 31st to 12:30 AM January 1st, with a current permit
Fireworks permits are $20 for individual families, $50 for groups of neighbors that wish to shoot fireworks together. Group permits must be purchased at City Hall
Fireworks stands will be required to sell permits during normal business hours. Fireworks stands will be open beginning June 15th until July 5th. They may reopen a week before New Year’s Eve
If a burn ban is in effect, fireworks are not to be ignited, even with a valid permit
Permits must be displayed so that law enforcement can inspect it easily
Permits will be available for sale at City Hall at the Utility Billing Window between April 1st and July 2nd, during the normal business hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
