Location of Meetings

All meetings will be conducted at Jenks City Hall, 211 North Elm, unless otherwise indicated in the official agenda meeting notice. To determine specific room locations, consult the official agenda meeting notice posted in the lobby of City Hall. Meeting notices and agendas also may be found on the City’s website at jenks.com. All City Council meetings, related entities of the City, and the Municipal Court are scheduled in the City Council Chambers on the first floor of City Hall.

The Metropolitan Environmental Trust is hosting a tire recycling event, along with E-Waste (electronic) collection, in Sand Springs on Saturday, February 25, 2017 from 8:30am to 12noon. This event will be at Tulsa Tech, 924 E. Charles Page Blvd in Sand Springs and is open to Jenks residents. 

Tires (with no rims) may be recycled for free; however, there is a limit of 15 tires per person.  Commercial and tractor tires are not allowed.

Acceptable E-Waste items include: cameras, computer batteries, computer towers, copiers/scanners, fax machines, keyboards/mouse, laptops, microwaves, phones, printers, power cords, small appliances, UPS systems and VCR/DVD players.  Unaccepted items include: air conditioners, large appliances, items over 50 pounds, light bulbs, and refrigerators.  CRT computer monitors, the large box types, and TV’s DO require a processing fee. Computer monitors are $10 and TV’s are $21.  Citizens are encouraged to go to the M.e.t.’s website and pre-pay for these items prior to the event (www.metrecycle.com and click on the green “E-waste” button).

No dealers are allowed.
