City of Jenks to Follow Governor’s Three-Phase Plan for Reopening Starting May 1, 2020.
Ordinance No. 1517 repealing Ordinance Nos. 1510, 1511 and 1513 to lift restrictions in Jenks imposed due to COVID-19 pandemic PASSED tonight at the Special Meeting for Jenks City Council. This goes into effect as of 12:00 AM on May 1, 2020.
This ordinance repeals the previous local restrictions on businesses and individuals, so that Jenks businesses, residents, and visitors will follow the Governor’s Three-Phase planning for reopening Oklahoma.
“Opening Jenks” follows state guidance and includes local specific guidance. Please see the overview graphic of what Jenks businesses and public places may open, with limitations, in Phase One.

City Leadership and City Council still recommend adhering to social distancing guidelines, avoiding gathering in groups of 10 or more (in Phase One) and limiting contact with others as much as possible.
